Brendan Lim is a music producer, content creator, recording & mixing engineer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Under the brief mentorship by R.A.P.'s legendary producer, Roslan Aziz (Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin, Atilia), he fell in love with the world of professional audio recording.
At the age of 19, he found his footing as a recording and mixing engineer under the tutelage of Anugerah Industri Muzik (Music Industry Awards) veterans Reshmonu, Hardesh Singh and Murali - which eventually led him to his own AIM nomination for 'Best Engineered Album (Indian)' for Ashtaka in 2013.
Brendan later pursued his degree in Audio Production at SAE Institute in Oxford, England. During his time in England, Brendan had worked directly with renowned record/remix producer, Ian Wallman (Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris) and artist Leah McFall (runner-up on The Voice UK, Season 2).
Brendan has worn many hats in the entertainment industry since coming back to his homeground. He has played the role of a music producer, recording engineer, radio producer, talent manager, videographer and editor during his 11 years of involvement in the scene. He played a major role in developing and creating artists like Narmi, Jon Liddell, DASH and most recently pop producer artist, MFMF. He is currently working as a business consultant to creatives in the entertainment industry and he specializes in business development and negotiations for the arts.
